What SkyGate is

SkyGate is a white label online travel agency. Your agency gets a website, a mobile app, a WhatsApp bot and an AI assistant, all under your own brand and domain, with flights, hotels and activities from SkyGate's supply at net rates. You set the markup on every product. Your customers book and pay on your site, and your markup settles into your wallet on every sale.

Airline tickets are issued by SkyGate, so your agency does not need IATA accreditation or a bank guarantee. Every ticket is an ordinary airline ticket with the PNR in your passenger's own name, which they can check on the airline's website.

A platform is a one time licence, or Silver at $199 a month. There is no commission on your sales. Maintenance is 10% of the licence per year and covers hosting, updates, new supply connections and support.

What is included

What a ticket costs you

You pay the net fare. You add your own markup, and the difference is yours.

If your passenger pays by card through the online gateway, the gateway fee is added at checkout and your passenger chooses how to pay it. It does not come out of your markup.

If you keep a prior deposit with SkyGate, there is no gateway fee at all.

Your markup settles into your wallet on every sale, and you withdraw whenever you want.

Selling flight tickets without IATA accreditation

IATA accreditation is the industry credential that lets a travel agency issue airline tickets in its own right. Getting it takes months, it needs a bank guarantee, and many small agencies never clear the financial requirements.

SkyGate removes that step. SkyGate holds the issuing relationship and issues the ticket, and your agency sells under its own brand at its own price. Your agency needs no IATA number to start selling. Supply comes through SkyGate's own aggregation layer.

The ticket is an ordinary airline ticket. The PNR carries your passenger's own name, and your passenger can check it directly with the airline. Your agency is not reselling somebody else's booking.

This is a commercial arrangement and not a legal exemption. Business licensing rules for travel sellers differ from country to country, and your agency should check the rules that apply where it trades. SkyGate does not give legal advice.

Terms on this page

PNR
PNR is the airline's booking reference. On SkyGate it is always in the passenger's own name.
E-ticket number
The 13 digit number on airline stock that makes a booking a paid ticket. It is printed on the ticket PDF your passenger receives.
IATA accreditation
IATA accreditation lets an agency issue in its own right and takes months and a bank guarantee. A SkyGate agency does not need it.
Net rate
Net rate is the price before markup. It is what your agency pays.
Markup
Markup is what you add on top and keep. You set it per product, route, city and sub agent.
CRS panel
CRS panel is a booking panel for your own staff without a public website. It is free and issues the same tickets.
